MONDAY 6th JULY
Reading:
1) Please access your next lesson on Reading Plus. You should be aiming for 80% on each lesson. Please use the re-read to ensure that you hit this benchmark.

Why not choose one of your favourite methods of learning spellings this week? You could try rainbow writing, pyramid writing, quickwrite, hangman etc.

2) To discuss how layout and structure affects meaning

Spelling

Please test your child on the 5 words that they have been learning this week. If correct, please highlight or tick off the list. If incorrect, please ask your child to copy out correctly 3 times. 

Writing / English:
1) L.O. To retell a story from the point of view of a character using adverbs and prepositions

THURSDAY 9th JULY

TODAY I WOULD LIKE YOU TO COMPLETE 2 READING PLUS LESSONS. YOU SHOULD BE AIMING TO COMPLETE THE SET NUMBER OF LESSONS BY FRIDAY (5-7 reading lessons and 1-2 vocabulary lessons)

Have fun playing this game.

Choose 'ture' suffix
Read the words, wait for them to disappear and then type. To check if your word is correct, click the eyes button.
